@clarity oh, I'm trying to cut this thing called a balance shaft. Its a solid steel shaft that is useless. Its supposed to stop vibrations the engine makes. But it add a lot of reciprocating weight. And if its belt snaps, it takes out the timing belt, which will kill the engine. Spent a couple hours with a dull blade trying to cut it. Got a bit over half way through it. Tried hitting it with a hammer. Still no luck.
