    lol I just remembered the insanely high file fragmentation on that drive, it's probably taking a while because it's relocating those sectors before it continues with the formatting........ yeesss, that's exactly what gparted is doing.... excellent..... it must have friendshiiiip with the sectors... pleasedonthurtthem..
