@cavatina RD has as much depth as Fluttershy does. When does she not act the same? her own episodes. Fluttershy, on the other hand, has more development. Where Rainbow just learns to read (rather poorly executed might I add) Fluttershy at least confronts her fears, becomes more assertive, and openly displays more positive character traits than Rainbow. Don't get me wrong, Fluttershy is also by far my least favorite of the Mane 6 with Rainbow being 3rd, but Rainbow is honestly quite a weaker character in terms of development and depth.
