@darkw00d You're overanalyzing it. Interaction is manipulative by nature, yes, but that's not because of a selfish nature, but because they're just steps in the stairs of the art of the word. Every word you say it's meant to cause a reaction in the other person, because that's how language works. Manipulation is not when you say something expecting a reaction, but when you create an illusion around the perception of someone else.
