@widget It's a statusnet config. You just change the DB connection string to use the socket address that's set in mysql. It'd look almost exactly like this: $config['db']['database'] = 'mysqli://statusnet:statusnet_password@unix(/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock)/databasename';
