oh so if i understand correctly the hate of oc is due partly cuz of the expectation of a person comparing it to the show itself and if its not of that quality or has no connection to the show what soever its pinged bad and a failed attempt. hmm i think im getting it but this bring me to another question so say a person made an oc and its origin is based off one in the show that has no nor was givin a background in the show. would that oc also be pinged bad since the only direct connection to the show would be location and connection to said cannon character
