  1. @wafers I know you do. But these kind of debates test our skills and values. A sentient being no matter how insignificant can ultimately end an inert entity. It might take millions of generations and lots of evolution, but it can happen. An inert cosmos is just a sandbox, just the materials from which to build, at the disposal of those insignificant sentient beigns. The cosmos is shaped by fleeting, small beings. The cosmos can't do anything about it, just "accept" whatever fate those little chemical reactions decide to do with it. Now think about it. Who is really the "lesser" or the "victim" here? Insignificant beings can mess at will with an all encompassing entity that has existed for eons, and that entity can't do anything to defend itself.
