Well, I've never been there myself, but I've read a few books. I think WWU came from the need to get rid of snow and such, and since there's no pegasus or unicorns, and weather doesn't change on it's own, they began cleaning it themselves. Nightmare Night was probably just passed down, a night every year for kids to have fun and get away from all the work on farms.#totw
