@rotation The Mitsubishi Mirage I have for the day just requires that the fob be "someplace in the car" for the engine to start. Ditto for my fathers Volkswagon Passat, and the Hyundai i-30. I assume there's some safe failure mode for them, I'm just curious as to what it is.
