    I just got here, so I don't know if we're still talking about the promoted dashes. I thought I'd throw in my idea anyway. I was thinking that maybe the current promoted dashes thing could be used exclusively for mod notices (like stickies on a forum). For what @widget was saying about promoting community stuff, I have an idea that could let that happen without showing favoritism. There could be a little area that had links to groups for streams, artwork, anything made by people on the site. Here is a VERY CRUDE mockup so you can visualize it.
