@jamster I don't really find anything with a modern hood comfortable. Also unless you wear a hich collared thing underneath they expose the base of the neck to the cold which is the easiest way to get a cold. Old hoods were better, but they're harder to sew and aren't generally a thing in modern clothing. A shirt and a jacket on top is generally better than a hoodie.
