@snowcone When I say straight up I mean 90 degrees, but you can have less than that and still be shooting up. There are too many factors to give a definite hypothetical answer (bullet's mass, angle of shot, force applied from firearm, resistance, permeability of skin of target, orientation of bullet, resistance).
