    Our cards do still have the magstrip, but that's really only for when we visit other countries and when the chip reader is out of order. Also most cards have that stupid NFC tap to pay as well. Ugh. I really wish I had a way to fry that portion. Until then, anti-static bags work wonders for blocking the communication.
