I resolved my RPK's occasional feeding issues by replacing the magazine catch. I had to do a bit of fitting with my Dremel tool on an unissued East German catch, but this gun is now running flawlessly. The old catch was so worn that the magazines would occasionally seat so low that the cartridges would not be properly extracted from the magazine.
