@rarity That's understandable. I guess I kind of enjoy that style because to me it evokes a sense of rawness in the music, as though there is nothing superficial filtering my emotional engagement with it. I think that's also why I like Ian Curtis's very lazy sounding singing style, it's sort of reflective of the very desolate anguish that comes through on the lyrics.
