@bobo I'm the same with audio quality when listening to music, and I like to have all my digital stuff in 320kbps CBR if I can (or if I absolutely have to have something lower I try to have at least a 200+kbps VBR). As for games I usually don't notice the difference between 720p and 1080p unless I'm strictly focusing on it, though in fairness most of my favourite games of all time and upcoming games I'm interested in playing aren't exactly prioritizing their resolution quality. And really, when evaluating a game's visuals I tend to have a much stronger bias for great setpieces, character designs, colour composition, and general art direction above pixel quality anyway.
