  1. @starshine I shoot black and white, so if you want real black and white, it's film or bust. You can shoot black and white with a digital camera at 3200 iso, but it's not the same, you can't see the higher densities of film grain with a digital censor. Plus developing anomalies can really add something else to a shot. This picture wouldn't be the same if it weren't for that imperfection by the cigarette. I like shooting film, in full manual, it makes you think about your shot, taking a picture becomes an event, it feels more tangible because it's not expendable. But it's not uncommon that I wish I had a digital camera, 'cause if I'm in street photography mode, I can burn through an entire roll of film in ten minutes, and film is expensive, about $10 a roll, then I have to develop it.
