I usually watch lots of sci-fi and drama shows since they tend to align well with my preferences in storytelling, but I've branched out to other genres before (I don't watch a lot of comedies but Nichijou's a pretty darn fun show). Some of my favourites are Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Serial Experiments Lain, FLCL, and The Tatami Galaxy.
