@flaxx Supposedly, Google+ started on /b/ where some people thought that since Twitter and Facebook were equally annoying and frustrating in their respective special ways, that we should through another one into the mix. Now, instead of being ashamed at how much time you waste on one, you can also imagine how much fun it would be to leave to one that you started with and go off with the newer, better one.
