@maiyannah Yeah, I haven't really used much in the way of tactics past "hold position" and "charge" since early in the game, but doing it that way would speed up things quite a bit. More so as it neglects the risk of enemy lance cavalry charging at my lines. If they can do that without rushing off to the sides to pick fights, then I'll order the infantry and archers to stand still, get the heroes to follow me in charges, and by the time the enemy remnants make it to my side I'll let the infantry finish them while I deal with the next group.
My current tactic of "hold positions", going on my own to mace some heads, then ordering a charge on the dispersed/busy enemies works just fine but is slow.
