@jinny I liked the first one, it was a techichal marvel when it came out back in 2006, and the writing/story were so bad that they were awesome, and I loved. Gears 2 was a carbon clone and the marvel/novelty had long worn off, and the story tried to become all emotional, with Dom trying to find that wife of his that he never mentioned once in the first game...it was nothing short of a disaster.
