    @thatonepony The last bit? Ok, so the commandline is as capable as Linux, which I see as the gold standard for that. Origins are a bit weird, from NextStep and all, but the UNIX underneath is solid, unlike Windows, which was a DOS shell that refused to die when DOS did. And Mac isn't terribly popular. If Apple needed to entirely rewrite it, no one would care terribly. I mean, they already did from 9 to X. Windows is much too popular to be rewritten from scratch, which is what I think it needs.
