@rotation Well, the London meetup had a surprisingly big turnout. I really didn't think nearly 50 people would show up. The main problem was the lack of organisation. Nothing was planned, so we just ended up saying "let's go raid Hamley's" and then all 47 of us ended up crowded round the one small pony shelf which was an undoubtedly frightening scene for other shoppers. So after that we went to Trocadero where we decided it was best if we all split up. Some, including me, went to find WiFi and watch the episode. Some went to find a pub. Some went to get something to eat. And that was pretty much it. So overall it was great fun, but just "difficult". There will be much more effort put into activity-planning for future meetups (there will theoretically be a meetup every two months starting January).
