@lifegospel The difference is that bronies marginalized themselves with their behaviour with a clear view of what would happen. Furries did it by accident.

@lifegospel Last time I heard it, it was the in-vogue way for furries to refer to the non-furry populace. Back when newsgroups were relevant and Zines were still a thing.

@lifegospel I refuse to use the word Brony to describe myself anymore because it has, in my mind, come to represent a completely different, almost wholly negative thing.

@lifegospel I disagree that it is a minority, but then I have a largely (based on my own experiences with it) negative view of this community and the people in it, so perhaps I am biased in that regard.

@lifegospel I think they probably wouldn't. A lot of the complainers seem to be people who watched S1 after it was done airing, and therefore, outside of the new-release hype-cycle, so had time to form their own view, rather than getting caught up in the EQD driven groupthink that has arisen with the new episodes.

!calgary @lifegospel well you are still needeing a ride after chinook though. so your still in red deer's car. @yodelerty there is some guy who is comeing from america to calgary dureing the holidays and wants to meet other brony's internationally. so on the 27th we are haveing a pony hunt for him. while he is sitll in town
