@engelhardt I've always wanted to learn a string instrument. I figured the stand up bass would be too big for me as I am only five feet tall.

@engelhardt I started as an Alto and just pushed my range while I was in choir at school. Even if it didn't sound pretty at first, practice makes perfect I guess. I kind of prefer musical theater to choir though.

@engelhardt What if your dad is secretly a brony? I'm sure the right episode would help. (showed mine ticket master- shows everypony, has a manly arm wrestling match at the start, pinkie pies song is met with Twilight not being used to her yet making any awkwardness be okay, oh, and the yakkety sak remix holds it together being the big joke for the parents on that episode.)

@engelhardt except that they're still requiring payment *per person*, for a buffet that we don't really want, a week in advance, and overestimating means dumping a lot of bits down the drain. I'm not made of money.
