    В отличие от Wire, где федерация есть в планах (им можно не верить, но это хотя бы не отрицательная позиция), Signal считает федерацию в принципе несостоятельной.
    Отношение к сторонним клиентам у Signal хорошо видно по тому, что стало с LibreSignal.
    И гвоздём в крышку гроба: Signal требует номер телефона.

    • @Melezh @axolotttl Ну это как за Линусом некоторые в Google+ умчались, из XMPP часть умчалась в Telegram.
      До появления Conversations XMPP был в застое, потому заверения Дурова о защищённости и открытости (и что код серверной части обязательно будет открыт) были схаваны с большой радостью без должного скепсиса.

      • @axolotttl Хороший VoIP, большой потенциал для перевода народа из более огороженных сетей, свободный код.
        Из плохого централизованность, отсутствие клиента для десктопа не на Electron и маленькое сообщество.
        Номер телефона можно давать, а можно не давать.
        P.S. Когда отвечал, не видел прикреплённую фотографию. Она как-то связана с темой O_o?
