@itsbeensolong It renders SWF files as a video file. SWF (ShockWave Flash) is an interactive media format that Adobe Flash renders. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't accept SWF files, so when an animator wants to upload they need to find a way to convert it to a video file, like an MP4 or something. That's where Swivel comes in. Swivel is a rendering tool used to take a Flash movie and convert it into a video format uploadable to YouTube. Since Flash movies are vector-based, it can even upscale it to full HD with no drop in quality.

@itsbeensolong The program I use to encode my SWFs allows me to letterbox it, I'd just rather not because I feel like that could get messy, especially since I'll also be upscaling.
