The Komodo dragon doesn’t use the classic ‘hunt, fight & kill’ technique, they rely on something much more efficient. Once they find their prey, they sneak up on it and take a bite. Then the wait starts… they’re waiting for the bacteria in their saliva to slowly kill the prey. This can take up to 3 weeks!
