@sofia AND AND AND, if you listen closely to Subotai (Conan's comrade) in the film, you'll notice in the scene right before the giant battle on giants' land, Subotai loses his accent in the scene with Conan...but because of the potency of the scene, they used it anyway. "TWENTY YEARS OF PITILESS CUMBER!"

@sofia Oh and like, you know that scene in Conan where he bites the hell out of that vulture's neck? Yeah, that was a real vulture because of the limits of production money. Arnie had to get tons of shots after that scene.

@sofia It's horrible in memory, but...when you watch it again on film, remember it. It becomes so much more potent. It makes the whole film better.

@sofia Poledouris wrote that song immediately after waking up from a nightmare of his wife and child getting taken from him and murdered. He explained that in some DVD extra bit before he died (too young)...Now every time I see that scene I break down in a fit of tears because I feel his pain.

@sofia Fun story, because I have these in mind: Basil Poledouris created the soundtrack for the original Conan the Barbarian film. Do you remember the scene where Conan burns Valeria at the alter on the hill?

@sofia It's moreso "Arnold's first comedy film" than it is a serious sequel to "Barbarian"...But if you want to search it out, it's "Conan the Destroyer"....and it still stars Arnold and Mako, for what it's worth. However......It's not highly regarded, in any sense. It's just awful. XD
