@starlynx I was completely loyal to them until they gave up Halo. And it was the best thing to happen to the franchise since Halo 2. Now i've completely forsaken Bungie. I'm sure Destiny will be fantastic, but I just don't want to get it.

@starlynx I'm not really interested. New Bungie is nowhere near as good as old Bungie.

@starlynx That's one of the downsides of my psyche. It's extremely efficient and allows me to keep in control in almost any situation, but it's hard to feel thrill.

@starlynx I'll have to try it, but I doubt it'll be that scary. So far the only thing that gets me kind of scared are real life danger situations. I used to do some pretty risky stuff just for the feeling of it.

@starlynx I haven't felt in "danger" in a game for a while. Games just don't have the difficulty they used to anymore, wether because of being easier or because of me being better at them. Dead Space's difficulty was based solely on crappy controls and low character agility that effectively bottlenecked my skill (that doesn't mean I didn't murder aliens horribly, doing it just sucked) Far Cry I haven't played yet.

@starlynx I played Dead Space. It didn't feel scary at all, just slow. The gameplay of Dead Space is the opposite to fluenty.

@starlynx I like 4 player co op because it keeps things interesting specially if one of them really sucks.

@starlynx Fancy graphics destroyed true immersion for me. A game hasn't scared me since the 2.5D era.

@starlynx I go back and play games from my childhood because of nostalgia. but the thing is I don't let nostalgia cloud my judgement about games. I love every game in the mario series, I grew up with Super mario 64 and recently I played mario Galaxy 2. I honestly think Mario Galaxy 2 is the better game in my opinion because i had much more fun with it. But other gamers say "I grew up with SM64 so it's better"

@starlynx I'm thinking of posting up his email on facebook to show how dumb he is. His name is Kevin McCullough, he has a show on a conservative "family" network that I listen to when I need to laugh at stupidity, but he was particularly stupid. Quite frankly I would have preferred he ignored my email. Who knows if enough people see how he responded like a child he may wish he ignored it too.
