@lnxw48 ATM Greece already doesn't have inflation with the €. but traditionally they would have had some % inflation each year over the last 10 years. (This wouldnt have been a big problem because it would have been the same inflation for everybody.) But this didnt happen because they had the "homeone-else's-currency". Should they return to their own weak currency the might get a #big drop in money value #atOnce. So people and companies who have all their bank deposit at #Greek banks will have their € deposit converted to probably highly inflationary drachma. OTOH Greeks who have already transferred their € to cash or foreign banks will keep the full value of their wealth. Rich people and companies will have done this already by now, but not the common people, who have only in recent weeks started to withdraw their deposit to € cash. And you can only withdraw small portions of cash at a time in the current situation of #BankRun. So…
