@therealscoutaloo !bcbronies Well, it looks like you can buy them online or at the door. It's $20 for one day and $30 for both. Times are 10-7 on Saturday, 10-5 on Sunday. We need to see the schedule (unreleased as of now) to get a handle on when we want to go as well as when the brony meetup might be. If JDL is there on day 2, a good idea for the meetup would be after the expo, since it ends at only 5 PM. That also gives me the option of only going for one of the two days as well as being able to watch the finale live. Hell, if there's no meetup at all or it's during the expo, I'd just go for the Sunday if both JDL and the meetup are on that day and simply avoid the hotel all together since I can catch the 6:30 and the 9:00 ferries to move to and from the maneland.

!bcbronies @garyoak yeah sure if theres no floors and or couches to sleep on we can share a room and i'd be ok with the floor to cut costs or whatever, also do you know if i have topurchuse my tickets early or can i get them from the door or something? (this will be my first convention i've ever been to)

@tjdetweiler !bcbronies As I said, we don't know the schedule yet, so we can't really plan a specific meetup time/place. At PAX, what we did (Which worked quite nicely) is we set an area and a certain portion of time (~11:30-1:00 or something) when people could come and go, based on panels they wanted to attend. Feel free to get twenty people crowded around a netbook and watching the episodes (I believe both parts of the finale are airing the same day), but I'd rather hang out and chat and maybe have lunch for half an hour or so, then get back to the convention and watch it on a big ol' screen when I get home. Conventions tend to be kinda noisy, and unless we can find somewhere we can watch it at a reasonable volume (and perhaps on a decent-sized screen) where we're not going to be bothering people, I still say watching the episodes after the con is a better idea. If we can rent out a room with a projector somewhere or something, I might be game though.

!bcbronies I would like to voice this concern and hopefully set some relevant ground rules right now regarding Fan Expo. The season finale is airing that Saturday. People will be busy that Saturday with the con. If you see the episode during the Saturday, do NOT bring it up during the con that day, most of us likely have not seen it yet. Most of us, however, will probably have time to watch it that night or before the con on Sunday, so some discussion will be fair game on Sunday. Does this sound fair to people? Also, be mindful that John Delancie's there chiefly for his role as Q and that Discord is just a minor thing he's done. He'll surely be fine signing pony stuff, but just don't overwhelm him too much.

@therealscoutaloo !bcbronies It's April 21-22, the weekend of the season finale. If we can't find couches/floors to crash on for the expo, would you be willing to discuss splitting a hotel between us and maybe other islanders, if there are any? I recently stayed at a Best Western in Burnaby and it was $132 after taxes for a double queen room. A single queen would probably be significantly less.

@therealscoutaloo !bcbronies No sweat we can just all meet up at some point during Fan Expo. If we can't find floors/couches of other bronies, maybe if enough of us go we can split a hotel or something.

@starsisters100 We've got weekly meetups on Saturdays but I don't think we've got any plans for more major ones yet. We're sure to be at any conventions in the area coming up, particularly Fan Expo in April, but ask the group (using an exclamation mark, !bcbronies or !vancouverbronies) if you want more details.
