@echron1000 !bcbronies Then I think it's safer to go for the library. Did you get anything from Ingram regarding his schedule? @thepuzzldpirate Does the library also need a week's notice before rental, or is it more or less than Metrotown?

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies Though, this all does depend on the scheduling still. If nothing that great is going on between like 12 and 1:30, we could totally set it up for a lunchtime thing. People might need to sacrifice attending a panel or two though, which is why until the schedule's posted, I think planning it for after everything is the best tentative schedule.

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies I wasn't talking about catching it live. As I've been saying, I've been trying to plan this for after the convention's done for the day, so as to avoid scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately, the team running Fan Expo still doesn't have the schedule up, meaning it's harder for us to plan our stuff around it.

@thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies If I'm not mistaken, it's like a 20-minute walk from the convention centre. I am a bit concerned about the tight timing for the islanders afterwards, though. How far away is wherever the ferry terminal is?

!bcbronies I've got to work on this project so I probably can't help plan for most of the rest of the day, but see what we can figure out regarding getting Daniel in on this and make sure all planning is done with Fan Expo in mind.

@echron1000 !bcbronies Also it's closer, has better scheduling options, is more convenient for Daniel Ingram, and we'd be able to expand to a bigger room if need be.

@therealscoutaloo !bcbronies Tentative plan for me is to take the 6:30 so I can arrive at Metrotown in time for the finale, if that ends up happening and I can get this ticket issue figured out. From there, I'm either aiming to catch the 7 or the 9 home that day or crash somewhere and head home on Sunday. Gotta budget carefully since I'm planning on both BroNYCon and Everfree NW.

!bcbronies Also, how would be the best way to get a hold of Daniel regarding this thing's schedule? I'll volunteer to be our representative if someone can provide a link. If @tesla500 can bring a projector, that would save us a good $100 from the library costs and I'd still be able to make the downpayment beforehand if everyone can bring 5-10 bucks when they come. If I've got the right library in mind, it might be easier than going all the way to Metrotown, and also more convenient for Mr. Ingram. But again it depends on the time the library's available.

!bcbronies @bronymike @tesla500 Good to hear, that will lower the price by about 150$, the library has the screens so it works out. anyway Mike. Here is the link for the rooms http://www.vpl.ca/rooms/spaces.html I was thinking of getting either Peter or Alma, pics are there, they seat 60 and have projector screens. If Daniel wants to watch it live, they do offer internet. How fast I do not know, but I can find out this Monday after work. I can do it on the internet but I rather talk to someone so I will head down.

RDNet suddenly stopped giving me updates that week, so I couldn't help it. @thepuzzldpirate !bcbronies Is this the big ol' coliseum Vancouver Library? How do you book rooms, is it online? What hours is it available? How big's the space? Is the internet any good? (Sorry about the barrage of questions)

@bronymike !bcbronies I can get a projector, speakers, laptop, whatever is needed to show the episode. I'm not sure if internet is available, but as echron1000 said we can just download it and bring it over. A high quality torrent is usually up within a few hours of airing.

@tequilasunrise !bcbronies Not necessarily, since @echron1000 is still freaking out about it. So, will neither of those things be provided in the Metrotown meeting room? How big is it? Is there a max capacity? Can someone in the group rent out a projector from their school? If there's free internet at the convention centre, I'll bring my laptop and try to download a 1080p version off Youtube a couple hours before 7:00, there's generally one already uploaded by 6:00 when I'm off work.

@echron1000 !bcbronies Yes. You are. We need to plan this before jumping head-first into gathering funds. I've got a freakishly busy weekend with school projects and can't waste an hour going to Fleetwood and back just to drop off five bucks. If there's a way to plan or pay for this online, I'm willing to give the whole downpayment if everyone can give me 5-10 bucks at the door on the day of the meetup. Is there a max capacity for the room? Is there an internet connection there or at least one at the convention centre? We need to be able to have the episode before we can play it. Is this for a room with a TV or better yet a projector? And you're absolutely certain it closes at 9, right? We need to plan this as much as we can before we pay for it.

@tequilasunrise !bcbronies If we can find somewhere that'll let us do it after 7:00 when the convention ends, and if our island buddies won't have a problem with it (might be tight timing catching the last ferry) I think that might be the best option, time-wise.

@echron1000 !bcbronies If I'm able to make it (still working this out), will you accept me paying $5 at the door and "reserving" me a place on account of where I live? If we get some sort of crazy finale meetup going, I'd like to try to make it if finances and logistics work out. If I can, I'll let you know the week before whether or not I can commit. I'd use Paypal, but it takes too long to transfer funds (literally like 3 weeks or something).

!bcbronies: That or if someone has a 50 inch LCD screen we can use. I have a 26 if it is absolutely if it is a must. Just need someone that drives to pick it up. I would pay for some gas.

@tequilasunrise !bcbronies: I think that is what we will do, I like the price. I will head down this Monday and get things done. That being said, it does not say anything about TV size which worries me. I will find out on Monday on size. however the room does have a projector screen but no projector. Does someone have one or we going to have to rent that too? it is a 100$ to rent one for the day which means it would cost 10$ total if 30 people show up. not too bad.

!bcbronies : I wont have something solid till this monday. If you guys could, take a look around and find somewhere that could accomadate at least 40 - 50 people and has a projector. It also needs to be easy to get to with transit. I rather have a couple of options than just 1.

@tequilasunrise !bcbronies : I was thinking at looking at the prices of a confrence room at the hotel in metro for a couple of hours. Metro is in the center of van and is right beside the skytrain. Would that be a good idea?
