!bcbronies @bronymike I've got the projector ready, along with a laptop, audio extension cables, VGA extensions, etc. I also have some small speakers just in case the room audio doesn't work. When should I arrive at the library, 2:30 - 3:00PM? I'll be at the Bamboo Cafe before heading to the library.

!bcbronies What's our policy on the second showing if the first showing doesn't fill up for some reason? It looks like some people are planning to attend the second showing only, so I'm assuming we'll have to have the second regardless.

@bronymike !vancouverbronies I've got a camera and tripod I can bring. How do we go about telling people or asking if they're OK with being recorded? Just announce it at the beginning? Perhaps we could have a section of seats that won't be in view in case some people don't want to be seen in the video. @jackzhang How is your camera in low light? The room will likely be quite dark. I don't think the size of the camera will be too much of a problem.

@bronymike I finally got around to testing the projectors last night, they both work fine. Aspect ratio is no problem, they show black bars as required to maintain the aspect ratio. One projector is slightly brighter, the other has better color. I'd go with the one that has better color, given that the room has no windows and can be made dark. On the audio side of things, do we have everything required to go from the laptop's 1/8" jack to whatever speakers we're using?

@bronymike Both are VGA input and have ~6' VGA cables. 1024x768 (XGA) is the native resolution, they may accept higher but would scale down to XGA.

@bronymike !bcbronies I can get a projector, speakers, laptop, whatever is needed to show the episode. I'm not sure if internet is available, but as echron1000 said we can just download it and bring it over. A high quality torrent is usually up within a few hours of airing.

There are two Community Rooms in Metrotown mall, each seat 40 people and cost $100 for 4 hours, $150 per day. The Bonsor complex is much more expensive, the smallest room was ~$90 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. I forget the seating capacity of that one. There's apparently another room in Metrotower 2 that seats 55 and costs $110 for 4 hours. We couldn't get any info on that today because they're closed. This Metrotower room looks like the best deal by far.
