Buying a new car in NFS is utterly useless. The only reason to do so is for aesthetics or if you're a fan of a particular car. The game has some retarded balance engine that makes it pointless. The game sets the performance of enemy cars in relation to your car model, instead of the stage of the game you're in; so instead of getting an advantage, you just waste virtual money buying more difficult enemies. The only reason I see to buy a new car, then, is to increase difficulty if you're bored. #Goodjobtheredevs.
