spent most of the evening trying to apply for my state pension. the "movie" to explain how that works is Flash-only so I cannot view it. Trying to log in produces an oddly-size new window and - once through the login - a page that never loads. #tomorrow I'll call them to send be a paper form instead. I'm all for handling things via the web - but not with such badly-designed sites!

@zoowar you're right about the #hammock! I'm expecting a book - don't know if it could be there yet but that might be just the thing to obstruct something inside. I'll try to feel around inside (metal clothes hanger?) #tomorrow. For now, I'm reorganizing my data transport flash drive ;-)

Braved the rain to make a stack of photocopies, then fastened and carried down 18 boxes of recyclable paper (to be put outside tomorrow. Now a break, a then I need to gather my stuff and get to the train, only to 'return again #tomorrow... #ugh
