I'm not telling you not to use #Twitter, people are locked in for a variety of reasons that make it hard to rebel. But recognize that any use of it is unsafe and its existence is bad.

Naja ... es gibt halt den unterschied zwischen Filtern und Blocken. Benutzer filtern z.B. erlaubt es dir, die Nachrichten von dem nicht mehr zu sehen, erlaubt es ihm/ihr aber, dir noch weiter zu folgen. Einen Benutzer zu blocken bringt hingegen, dass der dir nicht mehr folgen kann und man kann seine Nachrichten nicht mehr sehen. Also einiges an Bullbanana weniger und etwas mehr Arbeit für den, den man blockiert hat, weil er sich entweder einen weiteren Account erstellt und/oder deine Zeitleiste weiter in einem Fenster im Inkognitomodus verfolgt.
Was ich mich allerdings frage ist, wie schlecht es bei denen laufen muss, dass die mit einer Stalkerei sich an irgendwelchen Nachrichten aufgeilen müssen ... ok, den Rest denk ich mir lieber, würde sonst auf #Twitter/#RTL Niveau sinken :D

Si hasta ahora era siempre Facebook y Twitter los que llevaban el contenido a las redes sociales, ahora parece que tenemos un tercer actor que replantea un poco la situación. No es novedad que Telegram cada día gana en funciones, calidad y sobre todo contenido. Son ya muchos los grupos que se han gestado y gestionado de manera mucho mas efectiva gracias a este mensajero. Un sistema mensajería que si bien viene por las similitudes y superación de capacidad de WhatsApp, Telegram no disfruta todavía ni de la fama, ni del nombre ni del vocabulario popular (ojalá se mantenga así en pos de su buen orden). @attila The .json endpoint is pretty sucky. It's modeled to be compatible with the #Twitter API and that simply sucks and has no federation features in mind.

By specification the profile URI can't be designated to relate to any specific instance, since it can be any string of characters. But effectively in the current implementations at least, we rely on the URIs being HTTP accessible endpoints, so we can filter by domain there as a quick hack.
