I watched the show out of confused curiosity. It was good enough to keep watching, and I had become a fan by the fifth episode and a full-on brony over the course of the rest of the first season.
I am a teacher who recently graduated with my BA in writing. I am teaching media arts classes with a focus on video game design and the study of video games as an interactive art/storytelling medium.

@flamingpandaomg Yeah, understandable. I wouldn't waste my money. Titanfall's the only interesting thing on there. My PS4 has seen so much more use.

For all the free headsets that came with the Xbox One, I wish more than 1% of players would freaking use them in Titanfall. I only want to actually have a team in CTF...

I was happy to find karaoke versions of Ponyphonic's beautiful songs (The Moon Rises and Lullaby for a Princess), but I've yet to find versions like that for others, such as Eurobeat Brony's Luna...

Sorry for the rant, but... why does the simple act of enjoying a children's television show offend some people so deeply? I have friends that not only oppose me and my local brony friends, not only try to block us out of their Facebook news feeds and stop us from talking about the show around them, but actively try to "fix" us, both in private and in public, in ways both subtle and overt. It's really starting to get to me, and the fact that it's all over my enjoyment of a television show really just astounds me. I know this is nothing special or foreign to all of you, but still. Just... ugh.
