It's also (oh my f****** Celestia), horribly executed. Make no mistake, to me, the only bad story is one that's badly executed. Spiderses, when judged for what it aims for, is well executed. Cupcakes, as I mentions with my reaction, is horribly executed. It tries to be shocking and disturbing, but feels like a badly done 80's slasher script. It doesn't give anything for the mind to process. It just splays itself all over the table like a drunk sorority girl. Lastly, there's no f****** escaping it. People think it's clever or witty to refrence it. This poor attempt to shock people feels less a la AxCx and more like some angry, bitter f*** at school gouging "f*** this place" in his desk.

After I read it, I didn't want to read anymore MLP:FiM fanfics. Simply because I thought they'd all be this stupid and nothing more than a waste of time. (Luckly Past Sins changed that) Worse yet, it's tries for a crazy Ed Gien thing (saving parts of ponies) but, at the same time, goes for a Freddy Krueger (trying to crack jokes). This doesn't work.

The following is my take on Cupcakes: It's more of a juvinile attempt to shock people. It's not even interesting. My first response at the torture was laughing. Not Chinese this-is-how-I-deal-with-bad-things laughter. Actual "are you f****** kidding me, this is so retarded" laughter. The torture, if you could call it that, is so over the f****** top. And I listen to metal, so I know over-the-top. There is nothing that would even point to this sort of thing (and don't say Party of One, that came out later).
