@starblast Ah, ponyfeathers. By then I'll be back home in Sweden, so I can't join the !edinburghbronies for lasertag. Have fun, and, as in every contest, ALL GLORY TO THE NEW LUNAR REPUBLIC!

@whatwhat Kids today with their TweetBook and FaceSpace+. In my days we had Usenet and e-mail, and they worked for us.
-
@okeydokeylokey94 That's because you only see nine photos. Look at 1) the gaps in the file name sequence numbers, and 2) the lack of uploaded photos after the beginning of Just a Minute. I threw away about one hundred images that were complete crap.
-
@hakupony You tell me. I'm not a native speaker - the subtle nuances in such phrases sometimes elude me :)
-
@ceruleanspark @pony Then you would lose, because it doesn't. But it is a great way of establishing a legitimate complaint against organisations who run evil web filters.
-
@pony @ceruleanspark Would you believe me if I said it means something respectable in Swedish?
-
@whatwhat I think the autofocus on my camera is broken :( Very few of the pictures from the !edinburghbronies meet are usable. The few that are can be found at http://www.ferretporn.se/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24329 with http://www.ferretporn.se/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24343 probably the best candidate for a group photo for EqD.
-
@whatwhat What's the correct time for the !edinburghbronies meet this Saturday? http://forums.rainbowdash.com/index.php/topic,526.0.html says 10:30, http://ukofequestria.co.uk/threads/the-next-edinburgh-brony-meet-up-2012-14th-july-2012.2652/ says both 10:00 and 11:00.
-
@whatwhat Yay! This will probably be my last !edinburghbronies meetup before I move back to Sweden, so I hope the fun will be at least doubled.
-
@redenchilada Considering how long ago high school German was, neither do I, anymore. But Google Translate back to English gives me something superficially resembling what I was trying to say, so I call it a total success.
-
@redenchilada Es gibt ja jetzt keine Menschen an dem Mond. Dafür glaube ich daß es auch keine Mondsprachen gibt.
-
@mushi 私はとっても分かりません。
-
Var hänger alla svenskar? !swedishponies verkar ganska dött. Snart är det dags för mig att återvända till östgötaslätten, och jag har blivit bortskämd med alla möten som finns att åka på här i det lilla landet i väster.
-
@whatwhat I'd suggest taking the low-resolution version of this group photo and sending it to EQD, so they can feature our !edinburghbronies meetup in the nightly roundup: http://www.ferretporn.se/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24108
-
@creideiki I'm still awake, so it's still tonight, even though it's after midnight. Photos from today's !edinburghbronies meetup are up at http://www.ferretporn.se/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=24066
-
@whatwhat Thank you for organising the !edinburghbronies meet. I just got home and need to rest for a bit first, but I hope I can get my photos up later tonight.
-
@easterhousebrony Seeing as there's an !edinburghbronies meet tomorrow (see http://forums.rainbowdash.com/index.php/topic,268.0.html ), it might be a while before people feel like having another one. But I'm in Glasgow all summer, so I'd appreciate it if there was one.
-
@whatwhat Great. I intend to be there, exam revisioning permitting.
-
@whatwhat Would you look at that, things happen on the forums which I don't read. Is the !edinburghbronies meet definitely on for May 5th?
-
@whatwhat !edinburghbronies All my end-of-semester deadlines are that week, so I can't make it either on the 17th or the 24th. I hope you have fun, and that there will be another meetup (preferably in Glasgow) soon.
-
@stereosounds You might want to ask !edinburghbronies about that. I'd be interested, but can't afford a full day away from university assignments right now.
-
@rotation Are you planning to?
-
@rotation I'm noticing a distressing lack of mentions of Glasgow in EqD's nightly roundups. Has anyone submitted anything to them?
-
@rotation Which, since no-one drives, will get you nothing but wasted fuel. Clearly, you are not ready for survival in today's harsh reality. Good thing I hope to make it to the meetup in January, so I can say a proper goodbye before the snow apocalypse comes and the wolves move in to prey on the weak.
-
@rotation So you'll sit at home, gnawing on your socks to stave off your hunger as your inadequate winter supplies dwindle?
-
@rotation And you'll need those socks when you're freezing in your car, stuck in traffic while those of us who are prepared skip by outside, dancing in the powdery snow.
-
@rotation And yet you expect to survive. What next - you'll tell me you don't have thick wool undergarments and Gore-Tex shells ready to put on when the temperature drops below -15 C?
-
@rotation When that happens in Sweden, I plan for my bike trip to work to take 40 minutes instead of the normal 20. And I wear double-glassed ski goggles, to prevent my eyes from freezing shut (which is really annoying, especially in traffic).
-
@rotation I haven't seen any of those, but here's what Google Images thinks it looks like: http://jalonen.blogg.se/images/2009/100_1132_28655254.jpg http://www.freeride.se/img/photo/normal/7831bb93c1174c8411a1535e40d2dc77.jpg http://merviksmeder.blogg.se/images/2010/img_0262_75622525.jpg http://saerah.webblogg.se/images/2010/recently-updated2_75270994.jpg

@rotation Good thing I'm spending Christmas back home in Sweden, so I get to see what real snow looks like, and not just the thin layer of slush you get here.
