I have a truck pull to watch, and two kids to tutor today so I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it this meet. But if not this one the next one definitely! Also I was thinking maybe next Saturday would be a good time to go to the Unicorn to celebrate season two??? Anypony interested?

@conjure I just got off the phone with the park people. They said that they will try to have the wood there for us. Apparently sometimes they drop it off early and people from other sites will steal it, which is why they don't charge for the service. So hopefully our wood will be there.

!calgarybronies Omigoshmoigosh! BBQ today!! Getting some last minute stuff ready and I'll be over at the site sometime around 3:15-4ish. If anyone wants my cell number email bbq.vanillabellepony@gmail.com and I'll send it to you. I'm horrid with directions but if I'm standing by somepony who is good I'll just pass my phone off to them haha.

@conjure When I booked the site I requested they leave us wood in the fire pit. I'll call again in the morning to remind them since I booked this over a month ago, but it should be there!

!calgarybronies Alright so I checked out the site today, its going to be fun! We got lots of space. ***Remember bronies we are at site 6!*** Here is a map http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Parks/Documents/Locations/bowness-map.pdf and here is my feeble attempt at directions to find the site since its a big park. When you get to the entrance make a left and follow the road straight. You should pass a white sign that says "Sites 3-7", so you'll know your on the right path. Take the road to the last parking lot, you'll be able to see the stoney trail bridge. Once your there you should be right in front of site 5, walk on straight ahead from there and you'll see site 6. The sites are marked with brown signs near the center of the sites. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

@conjure I did my shopping too today! I got fresh salad ingredients, ketchup, mustard, cheese slices for the burgers, hotdog and burger buns, marshmallows, gram crackers, chocolate bars, my apple crisp ingredients, 1 pack of hotdogs, 1 pack of burgers (I got small packs because I figured others are bringing food as well) , cups, plates, utensils, napkins, BBQ lighter, BBQ cooking utensils, and 1 bag of chips. If you don't need me to bring the extra briquettes I'll leave them at home because I'll have plenty to carry as it is. I think between the two of us (and a few others who are bringing stuff) we should have it all. If you think of anything we need just point it out, I can get it in the morning. Oh and yes make a photo account for your ponies!!! :D

!calgarybronies @conjure YAY for you at being good at cooking with charcoal! All hail charcoal BBQ brony!! I'm bringing two smaller bags of briquettes, in case we need more. I'm probably going to be taking a cab home from Bowness to Dalhousie, if anyone is going that way they can come with me. Also I'll post my full list of what I'm bringing tomorrow, after I finish my shopping of course.

!calgarybronies Wow! I'm happy to see BBQ plans seem to be going in full force, I do have a question for you guys though. I bought a portable charcoal BBQ on Monday which I will be bringing, in addition to the two stands and fire pit that will be there. However do we have any experienced charcoal BBQ cooks out there? I think I'll be adequate but if somepony is experienced and wants to help out that would be great! Its a bit trickier than gas for sure. Just let me know

@moneybags Hey! If my email RSVP is correct there will be around 10 people coming. I'll probably try to bring extra supplies in case extras show up. BTW are you good at cooking with a charcoal grill? I've been practicing but I find it harder to do than a gas BBQ.

@darcyblue I thought they would be for icing wounds as well. I was a little disappointed also, but it does make much more sense doesn't it? However it makes a nice set if you have the lunch box and water bottle.

Once again its September 9th, Bowness park picnic site 6, and I'll be there by 5pm but come whenever you can make it (we have the site from 3:15-9:15). No RSVP is necessary but I'm going to to ask if you know you can come for sure please send me an email at bbq.vanillabellepony@gmail.com just let me know your coming and if you have any diet/allergy preferences. !calgarybronies @autumnfrost I love the unicorn! That's a great idea! I haven't been there in a while, but ponies would provide an excellent excuse. Also it's super accessible for public transit users. Maybe we should go for drinks to celebrate season 2 sometime? After that we will have to go on the hunt to find a pegasus and earth pony pub haha.
