@scribus Which really makes me wonder why humans are one of the only creatures in which young are completely defenseless and can't support themselves until they reach some level of maturity.
-
@nerthos I aim to please
-
@nerthos That kid needs a weekend alone in the forest with nothing but a butter knife
-
@scribus Kids are stupid
-
@starlynx I was completely loyal to them until they gave up Halo. And it was the best thing to happen to the franchise since Halo 2. Now i've completely forsaken Bungie. I'm sure Destiny will be fantastic, but I just don't want to get it.
-
@tenebarius I am also dreading it too beacuse it's being developed by a different company and being published by Frictional. I hope the new guys do the game justice.
-
@starlynx I'm not really interested. New Bungie is nowhere near as good as old Bungie.
-
@tenebarius I just can't wait for A Machine For Pigs.
-
@starlynx It's not. It's basically triple-A day Z with aliens.
-
@tenebarius At least it's better than Requiem...
-
@tenebarius Black Plague was just kinda bad in general. Everything seemed more silly than scary. Overture was fantastic but the enemies sucked.
-
@snowcone Ummm, thanks?
-
@snowcone Sorry I stopped watching so I wasn't sure.
-
@nerthos I would actually love to have "weapons" that do no damage, but i'm fine with the way the game is now.
-
Did season 3 of mlp end?
-
@nerthos But that would kill the whole purpose of the game, which is to evoke the feeling of helplessness and panic in events you have no control over.
-
@tenebarius No, Amnesia is designed specifically to prevent any real means of self-defense. Penumbra had weapons but that killed the horror in the game.
-
@nerthos Which is why you just forget who you are and put yourself into the shoes of a wimpy brittish gentleman.
-
@nerthos I love the idea of not having any weapons. That's what made the game actually scary for me. Not having any means of defense besides running and hiding just seems like good horror to me. Also the atmosphere and sound were dang phenomenal.
-
@nerthos I agree but i'm still able to immerse myself in that world extremely easily. As for the weapons, apparently the monsters are impervious to physical damage, but that's just an excuse for keeping weapons out.
-
@nerthos I get so immersed into every game I play that games like Amnesia actually creep me out because I legitimately feel like i'm there.
-
So, Wafers is going to get a bundle of roses for his woman because he can. I do enjoy being a gentleman.

@nerthos Well, fast paced horror shooters really don't work out too well. That defeats the purpose of the horror aspect.
-
@nerthos Sometimes I can actually just think of something really dire and still get an adrenaline rush. I often go sprinting like a mad man and see how far I can go before feeling fatigued.
-
@nerthos DS3 implemented a roll-dodge feature but it's pretty dumb. You have full invincibility and it lasts like 10 frames.
-
@nerthos I don't get scared in dangerous situations, but get really pumped with adrenaline. Everything seems so much faster when jacked up on adrenaline.
-
@nerthos Dead Space is not a bad game, but not scary at all.
-
Anyone know how much a bundle of orchids typically costs?

@vt3c :l well played...
-
@vt3c Alright, get over here. And never speak of this again.
