@adiwan Maybe you could organize a blood drive at work? I've had a couple of jobs where they had them fairly regularly.

@scribus There is no need to. There are basically weekly blood donations all around town. The thing is that I'm always too tired to get to them.

Hot baths (above body temperature) feel good when sitting inside the bathtub but feel awful when getting out of the tub. My whole circulation system of my body is then out of whack and I feel sickly numb and real sweaty. I get it that it's a very fever-like reaction but damn it is not on my mind when sitting relaxed in the tub.

Media literacy is much worse today than it was in the 70s, which is a bit unfortunate because people already didn’t understand Coonskin back then, if that movie came out today Ralph Bakshi would’ve had a larger alt-right fan base than Steve Bannon.

Hmmm... Like a Dragon Ishin will be an interesting playthrough. It's a PS3 game with new paint, meaning that the gameplay feels old while the graphics look new(-ish). I barely played one hour. I'll need some time to adjust after Gaiden, Judgment and Lost Judgment.

@adiwan as somebody who spent the first several years of my life in Florida, my big takeaway is that it’s really cool that Rockstar is depicting what seems to be a fully realized version of South and Central Florida instead of just showing us pictures of Miami they got off of Google Images like they did with Los Santos and Liberty City. I’m excited for it.

It was cool that it was both a movie as well as a game in one but the cutscenes are sometimes ridiculously long winded. I hate to admit but I clicked through of a lot of the dialogue of the side stuff and quick-read it. I clicked only as fast as I could read it. If I didn't I could easily add another 5 hours to Lost Judgment.

Never in my life, as far as I can remember, have I binged any game (series) as hard as the Yakuza series and spin-offs. I was really into TES Morrowind with 350 hours combing the whole map for items and storing them in the house, as well as finishing all possible quests. Oblivion and Skyrim I was far more restrained. I think I wasted *only* 50 hours with Oblivion and 40 with Skyrim. With the Ryu Ga Gotoku games I have easily spent 500+ hours in total. I don't want to imagine what I could do instead in that time. I was greatly entertained, despite some hardships. Still better than watching Netflix.

The Kaito Files DLC took me 8 hours. It's insane that it's longer and has a better story than most full-price AAA games.
