@nerthos Yeah I'm mad cus I kept my O3DS on 10.3 since like February and then I tried to downgrade without removing the ambassador downloads which screwed up everything and left me with no option but to boot in safe mode and update to the latest firmware

@redenchilada I screwed up my wii with a japanese firmware upgrade that I accidentally allowed so I know how you feel

@nerthos I mean, at least my old one still works? But I'd need to set up another homebrew entrypoint, which means either buying a game just for it or wiping my PSMD save (I REFUSE), and even then there's a huge difference between the HBL and an actual custom firmware.

Conputer people, how would you guys explain what are proxies to someine who doesnt know computer things? (i have to learn it but the book i got only said they were apps to controll stuff in firewalls)

@mushi you're thinking of Proxy tunnelling
it's a specific use of proxies and it takes forever to explain, involving port forwarding and SSL
basically just tell them it lets you bypass the firewall
Like entering a Police barricade by claiming to be the sweeper
the cops know there's no sweeping needed, but they let you through kuz there's no written exception that says "no Sweepers"

Seeing you people again is like visiting a cancer patient who used to be your roommate in the hospital before your chemo turned out and theirs didn't: it's a mixture of sadness, disgust, pity, and smugness about how you refused treatment and now lay dying in your isolated corner. Unlike real cancer there's no point at which you're completely irredeemable, but you haven't realized it yet and keep crawling back to your vomit for another helping to see if it's palatable this time.

Question for anyone who has more than my zero experience wiring things up:
I have a board where each switch connector has its own ground, but they appear to all be interchangable (I've touched the ground wire in one connector to the other wire in another and it registers the latter button fine). I'm wiring these to a connector, and the pinout on the target device has just the one pin for ground. The device is nothing but switches.

I see TCGplayer's sellers haven't averaged out prices yet for the Keldeo/Rayquaza battle arena decks. Even with the foil energies not having any prices my collection went up in value by $90 from entering all of the cards in (the set itself is only $30)
