I finished moving Mum into a nursing home, where they'll be better able to take care of her with her Alzheimer's Disease than I have been. It's been over a year for me as her Primary Care Giver, and I'm still in a sort of mental shock. I'm not responsible for all of that, anymore. If I had to describe myself, I'd say I feel like Pinkamina just before the rainboom, during the rainboom. It's also, not a happy feeling.

@miloth Ah, right, Amy's Choice. Well, it's definitely not a memorable quote as I've watched that episode twice. I'm... not thrilled with Season 5, mainly because <spoilers> the Pandorica effectively makes it all a dream sequence that never happened.

@scribus Hmm, hard to say. Clinton's would be a saxaphone, Bush W.'s maybe a martini, a pile of powder or a silver spoon. Kerry's a plank of wood, Carter's a peanut. Reagan's, a football, or maybe a nerf football with fins so it also looks a little like a bomb. Obama's, perhaps a scrolled up diploma? Cutie-marks aren't really one's resume', they're more talents or crowning moments of awesome. I recall there was a politician who painted pictures of glaciers in NZ. He said, "I think of myself as an artist who got elected, everyone else considers me a representative with a hobby." So it's kind of like that, one might up doing a job one isn't really destined for. I sure did.
