@awl I just looked up at a German car-dealing website, on which people can offer their car for sale, and found out that about 37% of all cars there are automatic. I thought this number would be lower.

@tiff there was a plethora of examples before that one, but yes that’s a rather shiny one. The “no such thing as bad publicity” addage rings true even if the publiicity is in the extreme.

@scribus sometimes instant can surprise. I tried out an MRE recently to see what the flameless heater was like and the coffee they put in it was quite good. Something to look forward to next week.
