Ah, I got it, in a sense adoration is like a consumable that when publicly displayed being use in such arrogant manner, society thinks it's cruelly affecting thus making most of the time a negative impact being you're a heartless prideful jerk. :)

Is it even possible to be humbly proud of something? Like you know, you're really not accepting praises but have a huge amount of arrogance through the end of the day. Like I dunno, a self loathing ego of some sorts.
