In my defense, I was initially asking if another drunk hangout was upcoming. =p Also, speaking of planning, this isn't super-related, but it's ponies so what the hay. I won't be able to come over to Vancouver this weekend, unfortunately (sorry, @andranator2 !), but I will be doing a sort of mini MLP mareathon, because the episode selection on the fan-voted Hub one last weekend was horrible, and it was at 3 AM. @echron1000 !bcbronies I had every drink in the house in a tall-dole glass. And then finished my drink from earlier. And had tons of pizza. I think I mentioned it in passing the morning after, and I made sure to leave everything cleaner than it originally was after my guts were done exploding out my mouth.

@bronymike !vancouverbronies They were there for the concert and we happened to bump into them in the lobby afterward - they had pony stuff too and noticed our pony regalia. They mentioned while we were chatting that they work on the show. It was a pretty awesome random encounter.

@echron1000 Not even my song; it's a verse in what's supposedly eventually going to be a larger collaboration, and it's a joke. Also, if they're looking for stuff to put us in a negative light, they'll find stuff way the hell easier than that. A major news outlet's not going to directly report on a XXX song about the ponies, there are censorship issues. As I said, I've never been contacted by anyone in the media in the first place, so the whole issue is moot. Worst-case scenario is that there's one more negative article added to the dozens that already exist, and when people bring it up with us we mention the hundred thousand dollars or so that bronies have raised for charities over the last year.

Looks like it's possible that the site problems were due to us exceeding the daily quota for the geolocation service we used. Or a DoS attack. Or both! 9.6

@colfax I disabled the geolocation plugin for now. Let's see if it helps. If so, I can probably implement a local geolocation proxy. That'd cut down on the number of requests we send.

!vancouverbronies @tophat i agree with what u said. i have my own reason to go to concert. 1) i enjoy live performances. especially rock. i've also started liking canadian indie bands like hey ocean, austra, etc lately. plus it's cheap. 2) i really wanna meet bronies. i'd like to make friends. isn't that the message in season1 episode1&2? i'm reaching out and i find the concert, which is pretty MLP related, to be the perfect time.

@mcbrony !vancouverbronies Those are good reasons. I just think (and i don't know, so this is only my opinion) that Ms. Ball wouldn't want to be bothered about MLP and a Hey Ocean concert. I don't know though, maybe she does? Either way i think she'll appreciate the sales. :D

@tophat !vancouverbronies The whole band's cool with bronies and if you want to get ponies signed Ashleigh might be willing to if they're doing signings or meet'n'greet, but just be very respectful of the band and don't interrupt their setlist with pony stuff or anything like that while they're up there. If you're going to do a bunch of pony stuff, the least you could do is also buy an album or something.

@cabal Certainly the fact that most try to avoid sites like 4chan is true, but lots of forums and places like yahoo answers, that most users check are full of guys who think they know what they're typing, but don't have a real knowledge over the matter.
