Looking back at it, I think it could have been worded better on her part. Then you jumped to a conclusion on what she said when she only meant that she'd block you if you tagged her in the main thread that she didn't want to be a part of. She wanted to discuss it separately with you but you went off on a rant about free speech and blocking. Then it derailed from there. -
@sim Yes, well, I'm only human. And it did grape me off somewhat. It is like having somebody walk into your shop, and said somebody knocks over and smashes a very expensive vase, only to turn to you and say "it's your fault for putting it there in the first place" There is no pleasing some people. Anyway, kind of a moot point now, is it not?

Hillary Clinton had to leave a 9/11 memorial in NYC early because of health problems and she was seen struggling to get into her car (she nearly collapsed and a bunch of secret service agents had to help her). That actually might have just cost her the election.

@nerthos In Clinton's case I'm fairly certain she had secret service protection before the election because her husband was the president and if you aren't forcibly removed from office you keep those benefits for life, but candidates typically get security detail so that nobody murders them before the election, which is what happened in 1968 when Robert F Kennedy, JFK's brother, was running for president and got shot.

I have taken it upon myself to treat ALL members here with the respect that they deserve. @hope didn't give me this position to abuse and squander. I have a job to do. And that job is to look after every single one of you. No matter how exasperating and annoying that can be at times. You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time. But you can not please all of the people all of the time.
