@thelastgherkin It's about time that the administration saw the undeniable benefits of rebranding. I remember pushing for this kind of change 22 years ago, but only a handful of users agreed. I am gratified to see it happen, and eagerly await the impending partnership with Youtube for better video/camera support.

@awl Each letter represents a syllable, like in Chinese or Japanese. That'd limit the amount of syllables we can use, and it would be unusable for English. New words and grammar would have to be built, but of course it's just an idea :) . Example pronunciations might be "ar-duh" for as, and "hey-duh" for bs.

@awl Here we go. So for the RDN conlang, how about this: 'a' is me. 'b' is thou. 's' is a plural marker placed after any noun. So, 'as' is us and 'bs' is y'all.

@awl The Latin alphabet is used, like we have now, but each letter is assigned a syllable like in Japanese. The syllables willhave Slavic phonemes.

Using Japanese for haikus is very restricting, though. More vivid images can happen in English with 5-7-5 lines, I reckon. English takes words from so many other languages, such as German, French, and Latin.
